Why a tablet

One NEAT® 5 g tablet dissolved in ½ cup of water replaces about ¾ cup of regular liquid bleach.* Tablets dissolve within the first one to two minutes of the wash cycle and begin cleaning immediately, in hot or cold water.

Tablet specification

Diameter 0.75″ × height 0.38″ (20 mm × 10 mm), 5 g per tablet. Suitable for use in HE machines.

Bleach equivalence basis

Comparison basis is being confirmed. Equivalence compares the available chlorine delivered by one tablet with ready-to-use liquid sodium hypochlorite bleach. NEAT® (5 g) and Smart Bleach® (11 g) are compared against different reference bleach strengths — which is why their per-tablet figures are not proportional to tablet weight. The exact reference strengths and the NaDCC % w/w for both formulas are being confirmed with the manufacturer and will be stated here. Until then these figures carry the basis used on the approved label art and are not a substantiated comparative claim.
